Terms of Use

By using PIS Socials, you agree to the following. This is an independent, student-run project — see the Declaration page for what that means.

1. Who can use this

PIS Socials is meant for students of Podar International School. Accounts are self-created with a school-appropriate email — don't impersonate someone else or create an account on someone else's behalf.

2. Your content

  • You keep ownership of whatever you post — photos, videos, text posts, comments, and messages. Posting it here just means other logged-in students (or, for direct messages, the specific person you're messaging) can see it.
  • Don't post anything illegal, harassing, sexually explicit, hateful, or that violates someone else's privacy or rights.
  • Don't upload content you don't have the right to share.
  • You can delete your own posts, comments, and messages at any time; unsending a message removes it for the other person too.
  • Do not share any photos or videos related to teacher or any school authority. If you did, your content will be removed immediately and you'll recieve a warning.

3. Behavior

  • Treat this like the school community it's for. Bullying, spamming, impersonation, or using the group chat/DMs to harass someone can get your account restricted or removed.
  • Do not disrespect students from different podar branches. Be kind and welcome each and every 'Podarite'.'

4. Admin & moderation

  • The app's admin(s) can remove posts or content that break these terms, and can post announcements visible to everyone. This is a student-run role, not a school-appointed one — see the Declaration page.
  • Admin(s) can not see your private dms, as mentioned in privacy policy. But sending inappropirate content/message in "everyone at podar" groupchat may result in account timeout.

5. No warranty

  • This app is provided "as is," built and maintained on a volunteer basis. Features can change, and the app can go offline temporarily or permanently, without notice. We aren't liable for lost content, downtime, or issues arising from using the app.

6. Account deletion

  • You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Menu. This action can't be undone.

7. Changes

  • These terms may be updated as the app evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
